Membership

Membership with FAPA is offered on several levels: Association Membership (for paralegal associations incorporated in the state of Florida - all members of the local association become FAPA members); Sustaining Membership (individual paralegals who have earned either the Certified Paralegal/Legal Assistant (CP/CLA) designation as conferred by NALA, Registered Paralegal (RP) as conferred by NFPA, or a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) in good standing with the Florida Bar; or Patron Membership (open to individuals, law firms, corporations and legal assistant program representatives who endorse the paralegal profession.)

Association (100 or more voting members) - $100.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Open to any paralegal association incorporated in the state of Florida (see bylaws for specific detail.)

Association (1-49 voting members) - $30.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Open to any paralegal association incorporated in the state of Florida (see bylaws for specific detail.)

Association (50-99 voting members) - $75.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Open to any paralegal association incorporated in the state of Florida (see bylaws for specific detail.)

Patron (Vendor, Law Firm, Corporations, Legal Assistant program representatives, etc.) - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Open to those individuals, law firms,
corporations and legal assistant program representatives who endorse the paralegal concept or
are actively involved in the promotion of the paralegal profession.

Sustaining (Individual) - $30.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Sustaining Membership shall be open to any paralegal located in the State of Florida whose qualification is evidenced by confirmation of one of the following:
(a) Any individual who has earned and maintained the Certified Paralegal /
Certified Legal Assistant (CP / CLA) designation as conferred by NALA.
(b) Any individual who has earned and maintained the Registered Paralegal or CORE Registered Paralegal (RP or CRP) designation as conferred by NFPA.
(c) Any individual who is a Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) in good standing.
